NEW YORK - "Grandma the Clown" has resigned from the Big Apple Circus amid allegations of sexual misconduct.
The New York Times says Barry Lubin is accused of pressuring a 16-year-old aeralist to pose for pornographic pictures in 2004.
Lubin released a statement through his attorney saying the allegations are true.
He apologized for his conduct.
The AP reports the female victim said it happened during the Big Apple's 2004 season in New York.
She said she was at first hired to work with the mini-troupe, but then Lubin persuaded her to model for his personal photography business.
