Two Boy Scout leaders were arrested Friday evening following a heroin bust on Staten Island, the city police department said.

44-year-old Alan Soler, a troop dad, and 25-year-old Kevin Saunders, a troop leader, were arrested around 5:10 p.m. Friday at Soler's house on Lafayette Ave. in between West Buchanan St. and Cassidy Place in New Brighton, officials said.

Police said they found guns, drug paraphernalia, and 277 glassine envelopes of heroin.

Detectives said they were investigating an overdose death on Staten Island and were able to trace the sale to the two men.

Soler and Saunders face a slew of charges, including criminal possession of narcotics.
