A painting by Jean-Michel Basquiat that sold for a record amount of money, will be on display in Brooklyn later this month.

Last year, a Japanese billionaire bought the painting"Untitled" for $110 million. Yusaku Maezawa is loaning his prized art possession to the Brooklyn Museum. The painting will be on display at the museum from January 26 through March 11. Basquiat created the painting in 1982, it ranks among the artist's most powerful paintings. Basquiat was born in Brooklyn. He visited the Brooklyn Museum as a child. He died of a drug overdose in 1988 at the age of 27.
