It was a slam dunk of a day at a Flushing School.

New York Knicks Center, Enes Kanter visited PS 188 for a basketball clinic for students.

Last November, student Ihsan Yumak asked the basketball star to help him become Student Council President.

He ran on the promise that if he won, Kanter would visit the school to host a clinic. Sure enough, it worked.

"They love the Knicks, I love the kids, it's a big thing because just coming here put a smile on the kids faces. It's priceless," said Kanter.

He told the students if you have a dream, chase it, just like he did.
