New Yorkers faced a light mixture of freezing rain, snow, and sleet Monday as temperatures ticked upward slightly.

The city saw less than an inch of accumulation.

The more concerning winter challenge for New Yorkers was the cold, however. Temperatures have risen close to the freezing mark, but Monday marks the 13th straight day of subfreezing temperatures.

Temperatures are projected to make the climb above 32 degrees Tuesday, with a high temperature of 40.

Alternate Side Parking is suspended through Wednesday for snow removal.
