DURHAM, N.C. -- Two musicians who are part of the Duke University staff are nominated for Grammy awards.

Duke Chapel organist Christopher Jacobson's album "Tyberg: Masses" is music that was nearly lost during the Holocaust and rediscovered some 60 years later.

It's nominated for Best Choral Performance.

Patrick Douthit, known professionally as 9th Wonder, is a Grammy-winning producer and lecturing fellow in the Department of African and African American Studies.

He has also been profiled in the Spectrum News Black Music Month series.

His work can be heard on Kendrick Lamar's best-selling album "Damn," which is nominated for Album of the Year.

Winners will be announced later this month at the Grammy Awards on Jan. 28.
