MEXICO — The missing 13-year-old from Katy has been found safe in Mexico.
Ashlee Hatterman was reported missing by her parents Friday.
The Harris County Sheriff's office tweeted Sunday evening that authorities in Mexico helped find her.
The FBI's San Antonio-Laredo office also helped in the search.

TEXAS – The FBI is joining forces in San Antonio and Laredo to find a missing 13-year-old girl.
Ashlee Hattermann was last seen in Katy, Texas on Friday, Dec. 1.
Investigators believe Ashlee traveled to Laredo and then crossed into Mexico late Friday night.
She is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and weighs 130 pounds. She has long brown hair and blue eyes.
Surveillance footage of Ashlee in Katy shows her wearing jeans, a blue shirt, jacket, brown boots and glasses on Dec. 1.
