A Brooklyn author has just updated one of her books to help visitors and New Yorkers tour the borough on foot.

Adrienne Onofri just released the second edition of her 2007 book "Walking Brooklyn". It's a guide book dedicated to highlighting various neighborhoods throughout the borough.

Each chapter details a walking tour readers can take. The book highlights landmarks, architecture, and unique eateries along the way.

It also includes maps and transportation suggestions to help readers venture from one neighborhood to the next.

"What I've, you know, aimed for with almost every tour is to capture both the history of a neighborhood as well as its present and its future, " said Onofri.

Onofri has also written a walking tour book for Queens called "Walking Queens."
