A 9-year old boy is critically hurt after getting hit by a truck in Brooklyn.
Officials say it happened around 3:30 p.m. Thursday near Linden Boulevard and Crescent Street in East New York.
Sources say the boy was trying to cross the street when a box truck hit him.
The driver of the vehicle stayed on-scene.
The boy was taken to Brookdale with non-life threatening trauma to his leg.
