Police are investigating two shootings in Brooklyn Tuesday night.

Four people were shot on Rogers Avenue and Martense Street in Flatbush around 8:30 p.m.

They were taken to the hospital where they're expected to survive.

Police say at least two of the victims were bystanders.

They say they are not sure what led to the shooting, but they are looking for a white car that sped away from the scene.

"You don't know when things like this are going to happen, so it just says to me that it's never safe yo know to just be. You cannot be pretty much outside of your house, outside of your building, you know just to chill and take some air. It's not safe," said one neighborhood resident.

At around the same time, there was another shooting on Bedford Avenue and Union Street in Crown Heights.

A 27-year-old man was shot in the neck and taken to the hospital.
