New York sends search and rescue teams to Florida and Mississippi to help with Irma relief

Search and rescue crews from New York are on the ground in Florida.

Blackhawk helicopters and 55 New York Army National Guard were dispatched, some of whom you see here helping out in Texas during Hurricane Harvey.

Meanwhile, Airmen from the 105th Airlift were sent to Mississippi. 

They will help set up internet and other forms of communication that may have been torn down by the storm.
