Police are on the hunt for two people they said are behind the fatal shooting of a man at a Brooklyn gas station Saturday.

"Personally, that was really overwhelming because I've never seen anything like that before," one man said.

Surveillance video, seen in the video above, shows the 46-year-old man moments before he was shot around 12:02 p.m.

The incident happened at the BP gas station on Atlantic and Utica Avenues in Crown Heights.

Police said the victim was standing next to his white truck when he was shot in the chest. He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he later died.

People who live and work in the area said they are stunned.

"I mean, it's Brooklyn, thing like that happen a lot," another local resident said. "But in this area, specifically, that surprises me because over here nothing really happens, there's a mosque over here."

No arrests have been made, and the investigation continues.
