One of Brooklyn's most notorious works of art is staying put.
The community group Spread Art NYC says the landlord of this building in Bedford-Stuyvesant had planned to destroy its mural depicting Biggie Smalls.
The Brooklyn-born rapper has adorned the building for the last two years, but the landlord had planned to replace it with more windows and originally asked the organization for $1,200 a month to keep it up.
After hearing about his plans, the city, the Brooklyn Nets, and rapper T-I all offered to help save the mural.
Sources tell us the landlord agreed to keep the mural up for free after meeting with the group.
