The Brooklyn Botanic Garden is in full bloom for the 37th annual Cherry Blossom Festival.

The garden is home to more than 200 cherry trees.

You can check them out tomorrow and Sunday.

More than 60 events are taking place for the festival, including a samurai sword demonstration, cosplay characters and musical performances.

"The cherry blossom is a symbol of peace and friendship between the U.S. and Japan, and we celebrate the arrival of spring. Spring is a kind of start of everything, especially for Japanese people," said Samurai sword performer Toshi Amao.

"We've got the O'Nellys, which is a band from Tokyo, which is J-rock. We've got some J-pop. But we're really trying to a mix of traditional and contemporary," said Brooklyn Botanic Garden Director of Public Programming Anita Jacobs.
