The NYPD is investigating the violent robbery of an elderly man in Brooklyn last week.
Police say the man seen here repeatedly punched the 78-year-old victim in the face and body inside Shorty's Deli on Marcus Garvey Boulevard in Bedford-Stuyvesant during the afternoon of March 22.
Police say another man, who is not seen in this surveillance footage, took the victim's wallet and cell phone.
The victim suffered cuts and bruises to his face, and was taken to Woodhull Hospital for treatment.
