We're hearing more from a woman beaten during an armed robbery in Brooklyn last week.

It happened Friday afternoon at the Belmont Medical & Surgical Supply store in Brownsville.

Police released surveillance video that shows a man attacking Oksana Aluva and her assistant — punching and kicking Aluva, and hitting her with a gun.

She was taken to the hospital and treated for a cut to her head.

Aluva says they thought the man was a customer.

"He went through the door, opened the door, and went into the hallway and pulled out a gun," she said. "He attacked me, shoved me, pushed me down to the floor, kicked me. I shouted 'No! you can't do this, we don't have anything, you're not going to get away with it.' It just came to me, no I'm not going to let you do this, I'm not going to let you take advantage."

Cops say the gunman ran off with $80

He's described as about 5-feet-11-inches tall , weighing 160 pounds, and between 40 and 50-years-old.
