Charges have been dropped for a Miami teen accused of killing a Brooklyn rabbi in an armed robbery more than two years ago.

Deandre Charles, 16, was accused of fatally shooting Rabbi Joseph Raskin as he we was walking to a synagogue in August 2014.

Charles was arrested more than a year later.

Prosecutors say they did not have enough evidence to try the teen.

DNA collected at the crime scene did not match Charles.

He was indicted by a grand jury and tried as an adult.

Charles spent months behind bars and was later put on house arrest.
