A Brooklyn man is facing 15 years behind bars for a gang assault that left the victim blind in one eye.

Mayer Herskovic, 24, was found guilty of gang assault, unlawful imprisonment and menacing in the attack of Taj Patterson.

It happened early in the morning on December 1, 2013.

Prosecutors say Patterson was walking down the street in Williamsburg when some men chased him.

Fifteen to 20 people caught up to him near the corner of Flushing Avenue and Spencer Street.

The attackers punched, kicked, and stomped Patterson several times.

He suffered facial fractures and lost eyesight in his right eye.

Four other men were charged in the attack. Two received probation as part of plea deals, and charges were dropped against the other two.
