Police are searching for a man they say tried to rape a woman in Brooklyn.
It happened just after 11 p.m. Monday on East 55th Street near Avenue J in Flatlands.
Investigators say the woman was walking home when a man approached her from behind, threw her to the ground and groped her.
She was able to fight him off before he ran away.
Police say the suspect was naked at the time and is said to be between 25 and 30 years old.
The NYPD's Special Victims Unit is investigating.
