The Coney Island Cyclone is back up and running after a malfunction last weekend left riders stranded 80 feet in the air.

Dozens of people were forced to walk down the tracks after the coaster suddenly stopped during its first ride of the season.

Officials from Luna Park say a new belt was installed in the engine following the mishap.

The park is open this weekend until 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 p.m. Sunday.
