The medical examiner has ruled the death of a 2-year-old Brooklyn girl in November was a homicide.

Police say Thaiya Spriull Smith was violently shaken, allegedly by her stepfather.

She died November 19 after being kept on life support for nearly a week.

The medical examiner said the cause of death was abusive head trauma.

David Adams, 25, has now been re-arrested and charged with murder.

According to court documents, Adams admitted to shaking her.
