The Mayor takes on the Trump Administration at an apartment complex named after the president.

He met with Brooklyn homeowners and called for tax reform at Trump Village in Coney Island.

Current state law allows seniors and disabled residents who make less than $37,000 a year to qualify for property tax relief.

De Blasio wants to raise that income threshold for the programs, which he says would bring tax relief to more than 30,000 homes.

He also went after the president's tax plan, which was released earlier this week.

"We're talking about tax breaks for people who have worked hard their whole lives, but still don't have enough to show for it," de Blasio said. "President Trump's tax plan was written by billionaires for billionaires. Look carefully and it's a series of tax breaks for the wealthy and the big corporations."

The new legislation would need to be passed in Albany.
