Many tourists come to New York City to see the sites as they first fell in love with them on the screen of the hit TV show "Sex and the City."

"On Location Tours" specializes in pop culture tours of NYC.

The Sex and the The City hotspots tour is always packed, but there's renewed interest this year with the show's 20th anniversary and Cynthia Nixon's run for New York governor.

"We get people from all over the world and we’re promoting the 20th anniversary because it really is an incredible milestone. People are still fascinated with this television series and with our city city," said a tour representative.

"It sounds really cheesy but the things that they experience on the show, you’re like that’s totally happened to me. But they just make it really fun and there’s loads of stuff to love about it," said a London resident.

The tour costs $49 and runs daily.

About 500,00 fans have taken the tour since it started in 2001.
