After a quick round of sleet and freezing rain Monday evening, we expect gradual clearing overnight into Tuesday morning. Temperatures will hold in the upper 20s. Our true January Thaw starts on Tuesday with temperatures climbing quickly above freezing and touching 40 degrees for the first time in a long time. By Wednesday our temperatures will be into the 40s and it doesn't stop there. Thursday and Friday should be at least 50. Friday there will likely be rain showers ahead of a cold front. That front will send temperatures falling on Saturday with highs back into the 20s by Sunday and Monday.

Bottomline, enjoy this week's mild temperatures before winter makes a come back in a few days.
