A low pressure system off to our south kept the five boroughs under the clouds for most of Sunday, and temperatures were at seasonable levels for the seventh time in the last eight days.

The clouds are expected to stay in place through the early-morning hours on Monday, but, the sun should peek out after the noon hour. Temperatures will be at seasonable levels once again, and winds will remain light.

Look for temperatures to increase a bit over the next few days; By Tuesday, we could be a good 10 degrees above normal. Afternoon highs will primarily be in the low to mid 50s, but, some locations could reach 60 on Tuesday.  Some colder air will then move in during the second half of the week, and we may even see our first snowflakes of the season.
