A woman is recovering after she fainted and fell into a train at a Manhattan subway station Monday night, the city police department said.

It happened at the 34th St.-Herald Square station around 8:40 p.m.

Police said when the woman fainted, she fell forward into a southbound D train. The impact knocked her back onto the platform.

Investigators said she was taken to a local hospital with head trauma and is expected to survive.

Police said there is no criminality related to her fall.

B, D, F, and M trains were delayed but were back to normal within an hour.
