A person of interest in a deadly Niagara Falls shooting is now charged in a separate homicide.

Charles Walker Jr., 24, turned himself in to police Wednesday. He was wanted by both the Niagara Falls Police Department and the United States Marshalls on a second degree murder warrant.

Walker is accused of hindering the prosecution in the October 14 shooting death of Lewrone Harris. Harris, 35, was killed at the intersection of 19th Street and Walnut Avenue.

Denzel Lewis, 21, has been charged in Harris’ death.

Walker is a person of interest in the death of Ladrae Walker earlier this month. Walker was shot and killed on Highland Avenue. The two incidents are not related, according to Niagara Falls Police.
