They helped the Yankees win three straight World Series to cap off the 20th century. Now, Bernie Williams, Jorge Posada and Andy Pettitte will be immortalized alongside legends like Babe Ruth, Yogi Berra and Whitey Ford.

News about Pettitte was released Sunday. The left-handed hurler tossed a franchise record 2,020 strikeouts during his time in pinstripes. His 18 wins in the playoffs also tops the club's all-time list.

The man behind the plate for most of those games was Posada. The Puerto Rico-born catcher went to five all-star games during his 17-year career with the Yanks. He caught in 119 postseason contests, the most in the Major League history.

Williams rounds out the trio. The longtime centerfielder won the AL batting title in 1998. He's the Bombers' all-time leader in both postseason home runs and RBIs.

Williams' number 51, Posada's 20 and Pettitte's 46 will all be retired. Each will also get a plaque.

It was also announced former Yankees co-captain Willie Randolph will also get a plaque in monument park.
