“Are you fired up? Are you voting November 6th?" said Byron Brown, mayor of Buffalo.

Hundreds of people showed up at St John's Baptist Church for a rally to get democrats to the polls on Tuesday.

"You need to come out and vote, our families need to come out and vote, our neighbors need to come out and vote. In Buffalo and Erie County we need to come out and vote in record numbers,” said Brown.

Governor Andrew Cuomo made one last stop in Western New York laying out his final argument for re-election.

"We said we would turn around this state, we would go to Albany, we'd get that state legislature working, we're going to get budgets passed on time, we're going to get taxes down for middle class families, and the tax rate is down for middle class families to the lowest rate since 1948," said Cuomo.

Erie County Democratic Committee Chairman Jeremy Zellner described the hype around the event as a dazzling display of support.

"Not only was this a huge crowd and a lot of excitement for the Governor and our ticket, but we've got hundreds of people knocking on doors throughout Western New York right now spreading the message of sending a message on Tuesday that the Republicans do not reflect the values of this community," said Zellner.

"We need to make sure that we leave no Republican and conservative voter home on Tuesday, it's that important," said Nick Langworthy, Erie County Republican committee chairman.

At a much smaller rally in Cheektowaga, Erie County, Republicans hosted gubernatorial candidate Marc Molinaro for one last appeal to voters.

"The power to change the state of New York, to lower property taxes, to end the corruption, is in the hands of the voters. Republicans and Democrats if we set aside party differences and focus on real relief, real reform, and the kinds of things that will help keep out families here, improve businesses, improve farms, make it easier for New Yorkers, if we all ban together, we win. So, I'm asking New Yorkers to give me a chance because I will not let you down," said Molinaro.

The latest polls show Cuomo maintains a sizeable lead over Molinaro.
