BRONX N.Y. - Police are searching for four men they say are responsible for shooting an off-duty police officer early Tuesday morning in the Bronx. 

Police say the men in this surveillance video were involved in a fight earlier just after 12 a.m. near 137th Street in Mott Haven. 

It escalated and resulted in gunfire. 

That's when a stray bullet struck an off-duty officer who was dropping off a co-worker.  

He was treated at Lincoln Hospital and later released.
