BRONX, N.Y. - A major drug bust was announced by police Thursday in the Bronx.

Five men are under arrest for allegedly operating a drug trafficking ring in Soundview.

Police responded to the apartment on Morrison Avenue late Wednesday night, where they found more than 55 pounds of heroin and fentanyl.

The DEA says the drugs have an estimated street value of $7.5 million.

Agents also found drug paraphenalia, including scales, mixing tools, and more than 100 different ink stamps for branding the narcotics. 

Police say the men hid some of the drugs in the bathroom wall, behind a medicine cabinet.

All five suspects are charged will criminally using drug paraphernalia.
