It will be a very emotional night for the NYPD and the family of a slain detective, as they mark one year since her murder.

Detective Miosotis Familia was assassinated shortly after midnight on July 5, 2017 as she sat inside a NYPD mobile command center in the Bronx.

Alexander Bonds, a man who battled mental illness shot her without warning.

He was killed by responding officers.

At midnight, scores of officers will gather at the 46th precinct on Ryer Avenue and East 181st Street for a candlelight vigil, marking the moment Familia was killed.

Then at 10 a.m., there will be a prayer service at World Changers Church on the Grand Concourse.

Familia's three children and other family members, along with police officers, are expected to march from the church to the 46th precinct.

The street there will be renamed in her memory.
