UPDATE (May 22, 2018): Yanny has been adopted, but Laurel is still available.

ORIGINAL STORY

SAN ANTONIO — Laurel and Yanny have stepped out of the debate, and into the San Antonio Humane Society, to find their forever homes.

After a short audio clip sparked a social media debate on Wednesday about whether the word being heard is “yanny” or “laurel,” the next day, the two aptly-named pups made their appearances on the humane society's website.

Yanny is a 1.5-year-old cream-colored Maltese/poodle mix, weighing 3 pounds. Laurel is a 1.5-years-old Catahoula leopard dog mix, weighing 36 pounds. He has one blue and one brown eye. Both are already neutered.

No matter which side of the fence you’re on in this debate, we think everyone can agree, these two are cuter than cute.
