In honor of Women's History Month, the borough is coming together to empower women to strive for success.
Dozens attended the 2nd Annual Women's Empowerment Summit presented by Bronx Community Board 7 on Saturday.
The event featured panel discussions and networking sessions all aimed to encourage female entrepreneurs.
Organizers say it's a great way to celebrate, strengthen and encourage women of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds, and give them the confidence they need to become leaders.
The event closed with a meditation workshop led by the chair of the community board.
