Governor Andrew Cuomo visited NYCHA housing in the Bronx Thursday morning, his third trip this month, and called on politicians at all levels of government to fix the systemic problems.

In front of the Forest Houses in Morrisania, Cuomo equated the "gross incompetence" at city housing to recovery efforts in Puerto Rico.

He called out the De Blasio administration and said the delays in fixing problems like mold, lead and lengthy repairs are a "civil rights abuse."

He vowed to delay signing the state budget unless there were real changes to the system.

"This hand will not sign the state budget unless there is a real remedy that is going to make the repairs at NYCHA and make them in real time. No more talking, no more bureaucracy, no more politicians covering the rear end of other politicians. It's time to get results for the residents of NYCHA," Cuomo said.

Governor Cuomo wants to allocate another $250 million of the state's money to NYCHA housing, in addition to previous pledges of $300 million.
