A Syracuse donut shop helps a sweet kid give back to the community.

Glazed and Confused along with frequent customer Austin raised money for the Saint Baldrick's Foundation, which supports childhood cancer research.

The shop asked the community to stop in Saturday and 'dough-nate' to his cause.

The owners agreed to match the amount of money raised.

"This one every year really is just something that we've kind of always wanted to personally be involved in and never have so it gives us the opportunity to do that," said Glazed and Confused Co-Owner Sarah Valenti. "I just really think that Austin really deserves to hit his goal because he's so passionate about this."

Austin hopes to raise $5,500.

Soon, Glazed & Confused will be rolling out a special donut to benefit the "Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation," with the help of the Salvation Army.

Valenti says it'll be a 'fun, S-U looking donut.'
