SAN ANTONIO – On June 28, 2012, Roland Castillo was found dead in the bathroom of his home and police are still searching for his killer six years later.

According to an affidavit, Castillo was discovered dead under what police described as suspicious circumstances. A friend of Castillo's initially found his body after he grew concerned when he hadn’t heard from him for days.

Arriving at Castillo’s house on Wilborn Drive, the man first noticed the door was unlocked, which was out of character for Castillo. While the house was quiet, the man said he could hear the faint sounds of running water coming from the bathroom.

Inside the bathroom the man found Castillo’s body in the bathtub with the shower-head on as blood spilled onto the floor.

Police believe Castillo was killed during a violent struggle that took place during a burglary at the home.

The San Antonio Police Department’s Homicide Unit is continuing to look for a suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact the San Antonio Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 210-207-7635 or Crime Stoppers at 210-224-7867.
