Police have identified a man killed in an early morning car crash in the Bronx.

Authorities say 47-year-old William Santana was driving a Mercedes Benz southbound on the Major Deegan Expressway around 3 a.m. Saturday.

They say as he was approaching the exit to the Cross Bronx Expressway, he collided with an SUV and hit the wall of the exit ramp.

Santana died at the scene.

The other driver refused medical attention.
