The New York City Police Department is investigating its first homicide of 2018 after a woman was fatally stabbed Monday in Queens.

Officers found Stacy Loknath, 26, inside a home located at 112-20 103rd Avenue in Richmond Hill.

She had been stabbed in the chest several times. 

The woman's husband was found hanging from a tree in Forest Park before her body was discovered.
