A man is recovering in the hospital after being shot in the leg in Queens by two men who posed as UPS workers, the NYPD said Thursday.

Police said the two men entered a home at 20-56 24th Street in Astoria shortly after 10 a.m. and portrayed themselves as UPS workers delivering a package.

They say the men then shot a 53-year-old man in the leg before fleeing the scene.

The man who was shot is recovering at Mount Sinai Queens. Authorities say he suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
