WASHINGTON -- A government watchdog is investigating excessive spending by EPA administrator Scott Pruitt.

The Office of the Inspector General said it will look into Pruitt's $25,000 custom made soundproof privacy booth.

The investigation is in response to allegations of waste, fraud, and abuse at the EPA. The inspector general will also investigate whether Pruitt violated federal rules by making frequent trips to his home state of Oklahoma.

This is the third probe into Pruitt's actions since he took office in February.
