Thousands lined Sixth Avenue Thursday to enjoy one of the city's most famous traditions, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

New balloons and old favorites took to the air, and elaborate floats, clowns and marchers made their way to Herald Square.

Olaf from the Disney hit movie "Frozen" led the pack this year, followed by crowd-pleasers Spider-Man and Pikachu.

People of all ages came out to enjoy the larger-than-life balloons.

"I think it's really cool how people made them, and how big they are," said one paradegoer.

"Being here in person is so cool!" said another.

"It’s absolutely fantastic," said a third. "This is the kids' first time here. I’ve been here since I was a little girl. This is fantastic. Absolutely spectacular. “

Of course, Santa Claus and his reindeer were on hand for the finale as they ushered in the Christmas season.
