Tuesday was Brooklyn's turn to sound off on the city's new monuments commission.

The panel held a hearing at Brooklyn Borough Hall.

This is the second of five planned for this month. The first one drew a big crowd in Queens last week.

Mayor Bill de Blasio created the panel in August after a national outcry over Confederate statues.

One of Christopher Columbus in Columbus Circle has come under fire in the city.

The mayor has not yet offered his opinion on the monument. He said he wants to hear from the commission first, which has until early December to submit its review.
