Police are asking for the public's help finding the driver behind the wheel in a deadly hit-and-run accident Tuesday in the Bronx.

Investigators say it happened just after 12 p.m. on Macy Place near Reverend Ricardo Tañon Avenue in Woodstock.

They say a 49-year-old man was hit by a dark-colored SUV before the driver kept going. 

Emergency responders took the man to Lincoln Hospital where he died.

The victim's identity has not yet been released.
