Bronx residents are taking matters into their own hands and sprucing up city property in neighborhoods they say have been overlooked. NY1's Erin Clarke reports.
In a statement Saturday morning, a spokesperson for the city transportation department said, "DOT cleans the Third Avenue Bridge twice monthly and our inspection identified some lights that were out and will be addressed by a contractor."
The next Rocking the Bridge is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 21. For more information, visit rockingthebridge.splashthat.com
