NYPD: 4-year-old among 3 injured in Bronx shooting

Two men were arrested Wednesday night in connection to a triple shooting that left a 4-year-old girl in the hospital, according to police.

James Thomas, 57, and Fredrick Fielder, 33, now face assault and reckless endangerment charges.

The shooting happened around 11:31 a.m. on East 167th St. near Webster Ave. in Morrisania.

Police said two groups of people came there for an arranged meeting.

A fight broke out, and that is when the two men pulled out guns and started shooting, according to the city police department.

Police said the little girl and two men were hit. The three victims are expected to be OK.

17 shots were fired in the shooting in the crowded area, according to police.
