Police Arrest One of Two Men Wanted in Bronx Deli Fruit Attack

BRONX, N.Y. - An arrest has been made on a bizarre attack on a Bronx deli worker.

Police say Brad Gomez, 28, has been charged with assault.

He lives only about three blocks away from the Stadium Gourmet deli in Concourse.

Police say back on May 29 he and another man started throwing avocados and bananas after fighting with the clerk over a food order.

The victim suffered a broken jaw, cuts, and fractures to his face.

Police are still looking for the other man involved in the incident.
