Prosecutors charged 13 people they say are members of a violent drug ring in the Bronx.

They're allegedly part of the Davidson Avenue Drug Trafficking Organization.

The group's charged with selling heroin, crack, cocaine, and other illegal drugs across a stretch of the road in Morris Heights.

They're also accused of using violence to prevent others from doing so.

Prosecutors say they're affiliated with the nationwide Crips gang, and get into gun battles with the rival Bloods gang.

Ten defendants were arrested Tuesday, two were already in custody, and one remains at large.
