If you want to rock, head to Bay Ridge for a unique hide-and-seek "game of stones".

The rocks are covered with uplifting messages and colorful designs and hidden all over the neighborhood.

Organizers says Bay Ridge Rocks is a way to inspire residents and spread some joy.

To take part, all you have to do is paint a rock.

"We tag it with, 'if found', post a picture to Bay Ridge Rocks Facebook page and then at the bottom, we write keep or rehide. So the person, if they really love it, they can keep it. And if they decide they’d like to rehide and spread the joy, they can do that too," said Bay Ridge Rocks Co-founder Amie Pappas.

The initiative is part of the Kindness Rocks Project happening in cities all over the country.

The Brooklyn rock hunt launched in January.

Nearly 900 people are part of the Facebook group.
