An investigation is underway after part of a parking garage collapsed in the Bronx Sunday morning.

Crews were called to a two-story garage on Jerome Avenue at about 6 a.m. Sunday. They say part of the second floor fell into the first floor.

The fire department says no one was injured, but about a dozen vehicles suffered significant damage.

We spoke to one man who says he parked his car there on Friday, and does not know what happened to it.

"I was trying to get home to Maryland this morning and I guess that's on hold for right now," the customer said. "I don't know when I'm going to get home."

The collapse happened near the 4 train's Bedford Park Boulevard station, causing delays on the line for hours.

Sources say the Department of Buildings has ordered the garage to be vacated, and has issued a violation for failure to maintain the building.
